Moto G6 Plus India launch tomorrow: Here's everything to know
Weeks after introducing the Moto G6 and G6 Play, Motorola will launch the G6 Plus smartphone in India tomorrow. Notably, the Moto G6 lineup saw its global launch in April this year. And to build pre-launch buzz, the Lenovo-owned company has teased some of the key features and specs of the upcoming Moto G6 Plus. Here's everything to know.

What does the Moto teaser tell us?
Firstly, the teaser confirms the launch date i.e. September 10. Further, Motorola has also teased some of the key features and specs including 'smart dual rear cameras', 'low light photography', 6GB RAM, Google Lens, Portrait Mode, Face Unlock, and TurboPower Charging, among others. Notably, the global variant of G6 Plus came with 4GB RAM, unlike 6GB RAM teased on the Indian variant.

Up front, the Moto G6 Plus sports a traditional display with a beefier bottom bezel that houses a fingerprint sensor. On the back, the phone gets a dual rear camera setup, dual-tone LED flash and a curved-glass chassis. Further, the Moto G6 Plus features a 5.93-inch full-HD+ (1080x2160 pixels) Max Vision display with an 18:9 aspect ratio.
For the shutterbugs and selfie lovers
The Moto G6 Plus sports a dual rear camera setup comprising a 12MP (f/1.7) primary sensor and a 5MP (f/2.2) secondary sensor. Up front, the phone gets an 8MP (f/2.2) camera, paired with a selfie flash. Motorola has also teased features such as Portrait Mode, Low-light photography, Spot color, and Selective Black and White and Google Lens integration.
Under the hood
The G6 Plus is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 630 chipset, paired with Adreno 508 GPU, 6GB RAM and 64GB storage (expandable up to 128GB). The phone runs stock Android Oreo and packs 3,200mAh battery with support for TurboPower adaptor. Further, it has a standard array of sensors and supports dual-SIMs, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0, USB Type-C, NFC and 3.5mm audio jack.
Moto G6 Plus expected to be priced under Rs. 20,000
The Moto G6 Plus was launched at a global average price of EUR 299 (about Rs. 24,350). However, looking at competitors such as the Poco F1, Honor Play and others, Motorola is expected to price the phone under Rs. 20,000.
