Motorola is gearing up to launch a new G-series handset, the G22. In the latest development, renders and specifications of the smartphone have surfaced online, courtesy of WinFuture. As per the report, it will feature a 90Hz AMOLED display, a 50MP main camera, a MediaTek Helio G37 chip, and a 5,000mAh battery. The device is expected to be announced sometime this month.

The handset will feature a 90Hz AMOLED screen
The Moto G22 will feature a centrally-aligned punch-hole cut-out, a prominent bottom bezel, and a side-mounted fingerprint sensor. On the rear, it will sport a quad camera unit. The handset will bear a 6.53-inch HD+ (720x1600 pixels) AMOLED display with a 90Hz refresh rate and an aspect ratio of 20:9. It could be offered in four color options.
It will flaunt a 50MP quad camera unit
The Moto G22 will be equipped with a quad rear camera module comprising a 50MP main shooter, an 8MP ultra-wide snapper, a 2MP depth lens, and a 2MP macro sensor. Up front, it will have a 16MP selfie camera.
A MediaTek Helio G37 chip will power the device
The Moto G22 will be fueled by a yet-to-be-announced MediaTek Helio G37 processor, coupled with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage. Under the hood, it will run on Android 12 and house a 5,000mAh battery with 10W charging support. For connectivity, the handset should offer support for dual-band Wi-Fi, VoLTE, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, and a Type-C port.
Moto G22: Pricing and availability
The official pricing and availability details of the Moto G22 will be announced at the time of its launch which is expected to happen in the coming weeks. However, it is likely to be priced around Rs. 15,000.
