Ahead of global launch, Moto G100's renders and specifications leaked
Motorola is gearing up to launch the Moto G100 model in the international markets soon. As per TechnikNews, it will arrive as a slightly tweaked version of the Motorola Edge S, which was introduced in China in January. The upcoming Moto G100 will be identical to the Edge S except for offering a dedicated Google Assistant button and sporting new color schemes.
The phone will feature a 90Hz Full-HD+ display
The Moto G100 will have a dual punch-hole design with slim bezels and a side-mounted fingerprint sensor. On the rear, it will pack a square-shaped camera module. The handset will bear a 6.7-inch Full-HD+ (1080x2520 pixels) IPS LCD screen with an aspect ratio of 21:9, a 90Hz refresh rate, and HDR10 support. It will be offered in white and blue color options.
It will boast of a 64MP main camera
Moto G100 will pack a quad rear camera module comprising a 64MP main sensor, a 16MP ultra-wide lens, a 2MP depth camera, and a Time-of-Flight sensor. Up front, it will sport a 16MP primary sensor and an 8MP ultra-wide camera.
It will draw power from a Snapdragon 870 chipset
The Moto G100 will be powered by an octa-core Snapdragon 870 processor, paired with up to 12GB of RAM and up to 256GB of storage. It will run on Android 11-based My UX and pack a 5,000mAh battery with 20W fast-charging support. For connectivity, the device should offer support for Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, NFC, 5G, a headphone jack, and a Type-C port.
Moto G100: Pricing and availability
The official pricing and availability details of the Moto G100 will be announced at the time of the launch in the coming weeks. However, the handset is rumored to cost around €400-500 (roughly Rs. 34,500-43,500), depending on the storage variant.
