Moto E5, Moto E5 Plus to soon launch in India
After introducing its latest Moto G6 smartphones, Lenovo-owned Motorola is now working to launch the E5 range in India. In what appears to a be a major clue, Motorola India has tweeted a couple of battery-related video teasers, hinting at the imminent launch of Moto E5 and Moto E5 Plus smartphones in India (the Moto E5 Play is US-only model). Both the Moto E5 and E5 Plus get reflective curved back panels, with the fingerprint sensor hidden underneath the Moto logo and concealed antennae bands. Up front, the phones carry a slightly dated look because of thick bezels on the top and bottom. Notably, while the design gives an impression of dual-lens setup, both E5 and E5 Plus come with a single rear-camera.
Moto E5 features 5.7-inch display, 13MP camera
The Moto E5 sports a 5.7-inch HD+ display with an 18:9 aspect ratio, 2GB of RAM, 16GB of inbuilt storage (expandable up to 128GB), 13MP rear camera, and 5MP front camera. The phone is powered by a 1.4GHz quad-core Snapdragon 425 processor and runs the Android 8.0 Oreo OS. It is fuelled by a 4,000mAh battery and comes in dual-SIM and single-SIM options.
Moto E5 Plus sports a whopping 5,000mAh battery
The major highlight of Moto E5 Plus is its 5,000mAh battery. It sports a 6-inch HD+ IPS display with 18:9 aspect ratio, 3GB of RAM, 32GB of inbuilt storage (expandable up to 128GB), 12MP rear camera, and 8MP front camera. It is powered by the Snapdragon 435 processor and runs the Android 8.0 Oreo OS.
