The most anticipated video games of 2018
2017 was considered by many as one of the best years in gaming. But, that doesn't mean 2018 won't be able to live up to the hype. With eagerly awaited titles like 'Red Dead Redemption 2' and 'God of War' in the pipeline, we've complied a list of some of the upcoming games that we are really stoked about. Here are the details.
Red Dead Redemption 2
Perhaps one of the most eagerly awaited titles of 2018, Red Dead Redemption 2 has already witnessed several delays. The game was scheduled for a release last year, but Rockstar Games has officially announced that the game will now launch in Spring 2018. The company also released a new batch of screenshots from the upcoming title which look absolutely stunning.
God of War (PS4)
The highly-lauded hack-and-slash exclusive from Sony is all set to arrive on the PS4. At E3 Expo last year, Kratos was shown teaching his son some hunting skills. He was seen sporting a beard, along with a giant axe instead of dual-blades we saw in the game's earlier iterations. It is now known that the game is slated for a release on April 20.
Bayonetta 3
Nintendo has officially confirmed that Bayonetta 3 is under the works, and will be released as a Switch exclusive. The company also gave us a short teaser of the game, which shows the game's protagonist flaunting her iconic dual-wielding pistols. The game's launch date is yet to be confirmed, but the teaser has certainly got us excited. We want this one bad.
Far Cry 5
Far Cry 5 is set in the US state of Montana where you don the role of a rookie deputy. Your task is to bring down a cult of violent, religious fanatics before things spiral out of control. Expect another wild, open-world action that gives you the freedom to take on missions, your way. The game is due to be released on March 27.
Days Gone
Days Gone is another Sony exclusive that has gotten everyone excited. And why not, it's going be a lethal mix of bikers and zombies set in the beautiful Pacific Northwest. It's an open-world action-adventure game where you play as Deacon St. John, a Drifter and bounty hunter. Sony confirmed at E3 2017 that the game will release in the first half of 2018.
