Montblanc Smart Headphones, Summit 2+ smartwatch launched: Specs, features, price
Montblanc, known for its luxury writing instruments and leather goods, has expanded its portfolio of tech products with a Summit 2+ smartwatch and Smart Headphones. The wearable comes as an upgrade to the Summit 2, featuring updated internals and eSIM support. Alongside, the German brand has also debuted its first-ever wireless headphones that come with a luxurious design and offer premium audio experience.
Summit 2+ smartwatch: At a glance
The Summit 2+ retains the design of its predecessor featuring an always-on 1.28-inch AMOLED display and the same circular case design. It is powered by a Snapdragon Wear 3100 processor, paired with 1GB of RAM, and 8GB of storage. The wearable offers an all-day battery life and also supports Bluetooth 4.2, Wi-Fi as well as LTE, thanks to built-in eSIM support.
The smartwatch also comes with several Montblanc apps
The Summit 2+ comes with Montblanc Track Info app that offers a voice-activated language translator and a TimeShifter app that provides personalized advice to minimize jet lag. The smartwatch also includes a fitness assistant called VoTMax and can even monitor stress levels.
About the Montblanc Smart Headphones
Separately, the Montblanc Smart Headphones is a premium over-ear headphone that has a shiny metal body and plush earcups wrapped in high-quality sheep leather. It comes with a Qualcomm chip that supports the latest Bluetooth version, Google Assistant, Google Fast Pair, and offers Active Noise Cancellation as well. The headphones charge via a Type-C port and offer around 20 hours of use time.
Pricing and availability
The Montblanc Summit 2+ smartwatch, priced at $1,170 (approximately Rs. 86,500) for the LTE variant, will go on sale from April. Meanwhile, the premium Montblanc Smart Headphones will also become available next month, and they will cost you $595 (approximately Rs. 44,000).
