Micromax launches 'Google Certified' Android TVs in India
Homegrown-company Micromax Informatics has launched its first-ever Google Certified Android TVs in India. The company has introduced two new 49-inch and 55-inch models with 4K display and HDR 10 support. In terms of pricing, the 49-inch variant is priced at Rs. 51,990 while the 55-inch variant is priced at Rs. 61,990. Here's more about these new TVs.

Both TVs are powered by a quad-core Cortex-A53 processor, paired with 2.5GB of RAM, and 16GB of internal storage. In terms of connectivity, there's built-in Chromecast, MHL connectivity, Google Assistant with voice-enabled search, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth among others. The TVs sport two 12W speakers with Pure Sound Technology which is touted to be Dolby and DTS-HD certified.
These Google-certified TVs run Android Oreo
As stated before, both the 49-inch and 55-inch models are Google-certified Android TVs. Hence, they run on the latest Android Oreo OS and come with an official Google Play store that gives access to several apps, games, movies, and music.
