Micromax IN 1 to debut in India on March 19
Micromax is all set to launch its latest budget-range smartphone, the IN 1 in India on March 19 at 12 noon. The event will be live streamed via the company's website. In the latest development, XDA Developers' Tushar Mehta has revealed that the device will come with a punch-hole display, a MediaTek Helio G80 processor, triple rear cameras, and a 5,000mAh battery.
The phone will have a Full-HD+ screen
The Micromax IN 1 will feature a punch-hole design with a thick bottom bezel. On the rear, it will pack a triple camera setup and a physical fingerprint scanner for secure authentication of biometric data. The handset will reportedly bear a 6.67-inch Full-HD+ (1080x2340 pixels) IPS LCD screen with an aspect ratio of 19.5:9.
It will sport a 48MP main camera
The Micromax IN 1 is said to sport a triple rear camera setup comprising a 48MP primary sensor, a 2MP depth sensor, and a 2MP macro shooter. On the front, it is likely to offer an 8MP selfie snapper.
It will draw power from a Helio G80 processor
The Micromax IN 1 will be powered by an octa-core MediaTek Helio G80 chipset, paired with up to 6GB of RAM and up to 128GB of storage. Under the hood, it will run on Android 10 and pack a 5,000mAh battery with 18W fast-charging support. For connectivity, the device should offer support for dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0, a headphone jack, and a Type-C port.
Micromax IN 1: Pricing and availability
The official pricing and availability details of the Micromax IN 1 will be announced at the time of the launch, which is scheduled for March 19. However, considering the expected specifications, the handset is likely to cost around Rs. 12,000.
