Micromax launches Android-based Smart TVs in India
Like smartphones, the market for Smart TVs in India has grown many folds. And, now to take on the likes of Blaupunkt, Vu, and Xiaomi, home-grown company Micromax has launched its Canvas 3 Smart TV range in the country. The Canvas 3 range has three LED TVs, all of which are powered by quad-core processors and run Android Nougat. Here's our round-up.
Micromax Canvas 3 Smart TV range: At a glance
The Micromax Canvas 3 Smart TV has three models: 32-inch LED HD, 40-inch LED full-HD, and 50-inch LED full-HD. Notably, all the three models have a 178-degree of viewing angle, 60Hz of refresh rate and are powered by Noise Reduction image processing engine. The TVs run on a quad-core processor and come with 1GB of RAM and 5.5GB of internal storage.
Connectivity options, ports and more
These Canvas 3 Smart TVs pack two 24W RMS speakers paired with Class D Amplifier and come pre-installed with Aptoide App store. In terms of connectivity options, all the models get Wi-Fi, Apple Airplay, three HDMI ports, two USB ports, an RJ45 Ethernet port, and 3.5mm headphone jack among others. Further, these TVs can also be controlled using a smartphone via Wireless Smartphone Control.
Pricing and Availability
The Micromax Canvas 3 32-inch variant is priced at Rs. 13,999, while the 40-inch full-HD model is priced at Rs. 19,999. Both these TVs are now on sale exclusively via Flipkart. Notably, the pricing and availability of the 50-inch model is yet to be announced.
