Micromax Canvas 2 Plus (2018) launched at Rs. 8,999
As a successor to the Canvas 2 Plus, home-grown OEM Micromax has launched the Canvas 2 Plus 2018 model in India. Priced at Rs. 8,999, the latest model comes with refreshing updates including an 18:9 display, selfie flash, and face unlock feature to compete with the existing smartphones. The phone sports a 5.7-inch HD (720x1280 pixels) IPS display with an 18:9 aspect ratio and 450 nits peak brightness. It is powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core processor, paired with 3GB of DDR3 RAM and 32GB of inbuilt storage. The phone, available in Jet Black and Matte Black color variants, supports dual-SIM (Nano) cards, runs Android Nougat and packs a massive 4,000mAh battery.

The Micromax Canvas 2 Plus (2018) sports a 13-megapixel rear camera sensor along with an LED flash and 80-degree wide-angle lens. The primary camera supports features such as Beauty mode, Time Lapse, and Watermark. On the front, you get an 8-megapixel sensor which comes with a dedicated selfie flash. The front shooter offers features including Beauty mode, Portrait mode and preloaded Face Unlock feature.
Canvas 2 Plus (2018) supports 22 Indian languages also
The phone comes preloaded with 22 Indian regional languages. In terms of connectivity options, it offers 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS/A-GPS, and FM radio. Lastly, along with face unlock, the Canvas 2 Plus 2018 also gets a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor.
