Xiaomi brings Hotstar app to Mi TVs; launches new Mi-backbacks
Xiaomi has introduced Hotstar app to its Mi Smart TVs, allowing users access to a host of new TV shows, movies, and sports shows on their Mi TVs. The company has also launched a new range of accessories like new Mi backpacks and Mi Band HRX edition strap in India, which will be available via Mi.com and Mi Home stores. Here are the details.
How can you access Hotstar on Mi TVs?
In order to access Hotstar on your Xiaomi Mi TV 4 or Mi TV 4A, you need to find the Hotstar app in the 'More Apps' section of your TVs. This much-awaited Hotstar app integration allows you to search your favorite TV shows, sports events and movies. It will also highlight top TV shows and movie titles as thumbnails on the TV's homescreen.
Mi Travel Backpack
The most expensive of the lot, Mi Travel Backpack, is priced at Rs. 1,999 and is available in two color options - Blue and Gray. Featuring two-compartments, the backpack has a waterproof coating along with modern mesh design for each adjustment. The backpack can hold up to a 14-inch laptop or tablet.
Mi City Backpack
The Mi City Backpack, at Rs. 1,599, features a sleek design with four storage compartments to accommodate your daily essentials. The bag is lined with EPE foam and comes with adjustable shoulder straps to reduce pressure on spine. Made up of a water-resistant material, Mi City backpack comes in Dark Grey and Light Grey color options. Further, it can fit a 14-inch laptop.
Mi Casual Backpack
Completing the trio of new Mi backpacks in India is the Mi Casual Backpack priced at Rs. 899. The bag adorns a dual-tone checkered pattern design, made from anti-splash and durable polyester and features quality YKK zippers. The Mi City Backpack is available in three options - Black, Grey, and Blue - and can accommodate a 15.6-inch laptop.
Mi Band Strap- HRX Edition
Compatible with the Mi Band HRX Edition, Xiaomi has introduced new HRX Edition Mi Band Straps at a price of Rs. 199. The Mi Band Strap-HRX Edition is available in four color options - Orange, Blue, Black, and Green. This interchangeable strap features a reinforced inner lining to support vigorous activities, and will go on sale in India starting March 31.
