These Mi TVs are receiving Android TV 9.0 update
Chinese tech giant Xiaomi has started rolling out the much-awaited Android-tv'>Android TV 9.0 update for its entry-level 32-inch and mid-range 43-inch Mi TV 4A models. The update brings a host of new features such as built-in Chromecast, Google Play Store, Data Saver, Google Play Movies, and more. Here's all about it.

A look at both the models
To recall, the 43-inch and 32-inch Mi TV 4A models offer LED screens with full-HD (1920x1080 pixels) and HD ready (1366x768 pixels) resolutions, respectively. Both the smart TVs come with 60Hz refresh rate, 178-degree viewing angle, and an aspect ratio of 16:9. Besides that, these models also house two 10W speakers with DTS HD sound technology for enhanced viewing experience.
Under the hood
Both 32-inch and 43-inch Mi TV 4A models are powered by a quad-core processor, coupled with 1GB RAM and 8GB of internal memory to store apps. Under the hood, both the televisions run Android Pie OS and offer features like built-in Chromecast, Google Play Store, and other Google apps. Moreover, they also come with in-built apps like Hotstar, SonyLIV, TVFPlay, and more.
What about connectivity options?
Both 32-inch and 43-inch Mi TV 4A models offer connectivity features like three HDMI and USB ports, an Ethernet socket, and another dedicated port to connect external speakers. The smart TVs come with support for single-band Wi-Fi and offer display mirroring feature through which you can watch the content from your smartphone on the TV.
Finally, how much do they cost?
As far as their pricing is concerned, the 32-inch Mi TV 4A costs Rs. 12,499 and the bigger 43-inch model is priced at Rs. 22,999. Notably, both the models were launched in India in February 2018 alongside Redmi Note 5 Pro smartphone.
