Taking on Apple's 2018 MacBook Air, Xiaomi has launched the upgraded version of its 12.5-inch Mi Notebook Air.
The new laptop comes with a full-HD+ display, up to 8th-generation Intel Core i5 processor, 4GB of RAM, up to 256GB SSD, and Harman-branded speakers.
In China, the updated Mi Notebook Air comes at a starting price of 3,599 yuan (approximately Rs. 38,400).

Touted as the MacBook Air clone, the new Mi Notebook Air features a full-metal body, narrow bezel design, and a full-size backlit keyboard.

Alongside the standard Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity, the 2019 Mi Notebook Air comes with a USB Type-C port, one HDMI port, one USB 3.0 port, and 3.5mm headphone jack. Additionally, the laptop also packs three Harman-made speakers and comes with DTS Surround Sound support.

Pricing and availability of the 2019 Mi Notebook Air
The Mi Notebook Air 12.5-inch (2019) with Intel Core m3 CPU+ 128GB SSD costs 3,599 yuan (Rs. 38,400), whereas the 256GB SSD model costs 3,999 yuan (Rs. 42,700).
The Intel Core i5 CPU+ 256GB SSD variant is priced at 4,299 yuan (Rs. 45,900).
While there are no details about the availability of the laptop in India, it will go on sale in China starting March 28.
