Mi Note 10 Lite passes FCC certification, launch imminent
As a watered-down version of its camera-centric Mi Note 10 smartphone, Xiaomi is working to launch the Mi Note 10 Lite. The handset has reportedly passed the FCC certification and is expected to be launched in the coming weeks. Separately, tipster Sudhanshu Ambhore has revealed the key details of the handset, confirming the presence of a 64MP penta-lens rear camera. Here's more.
How will it look like?
At present, the details about the design of the Mi Note 10 Lite are rather scarce. However, according to the tip-off, the phone will come with a 6.47-inch screen. For reference, the standard Mi Note 10 sports a 6.47-inch Full-HD+ AMOLED display with aggressively curved edges and offers an under-display fingerprint reader for secure biometric authentication.
For the shutterbugs and selfie lovers
The Mi Note 10 Lite will house a penta-lens rear camera setup comprising a 64MP primary sensor, paired with a couple of 8MP lenses, a 5MP telephoto sensor, and another 2MP macro camera. Meanwhile, the details of the front-facing snapper are not known.
Under the hood
The Mi Note 10 Lite is expected to house a Snapdragon 730G octa-core processor. However, the details about the RAM and storage are still unclear. The phone will run on Android 10-based MIUI 11 and house a solid 5,260mAh battery with 30W fast-charging support. In terms of connectivity options, it will come with support for dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, VoLTE, and USB Type-C port.
And, how much will it cost?
As for the pocket-pinch, the Mi Note 10 Lite will be positioned below the standard Mi Note 10, which starts at EUR 549 (approximately Rs. 43,000). However, the official details will be revealed by the company at the time of launch.
