Xiaomi's Mi MIX 4 might feature an under-display selfie camera
Xiaomi is working to expand its line-up of flagship smartphones with the Mi MIX 4, which is slated to arrive later this year. In the latest development, a Chinese report has shared concept renders of the phone, revealing possible design details. The Mi MIX 4 will have a boxy design with proportionate bezels and an uninterrupted screen achieved by adopting an under-display selfie camera.
Mi MIX 4: At a glance
According to the renders, the Mi MIX 4 is expected to feature a flat edge-to-edge screen with no notches and bezels. On the rear, it will house a quad camera unit. The handset will reportedly bear a 6.4-inch QHD+ (1440x3120 pixels) AMOLED screen with an integrated fingerprint scanner as well as selfie camera. It is also tipped to offer an IP68-rated build quality.
For the shutterbugs and selfie lovers
The Mi MIX 4 is tipped to sport a quad rear camera module, comprising a 108MP primary sensor, a 16MP secondary lens, a 12MP tertiary camera, and another 8MP shooter. For selfies and video calling, it will get a 32MP snapper.
Under the hood
The Mi MIX 4 will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 chipset, paired with at least 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. Under the hood, it will run on Android 11-based MIUI 12.5 and pack a 4,500mAh battery. In terms of connectivity, the device should also offer support for Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, 5G, and a Type-C port.
What about the price?
At present, there is no official information regarding the launch and pricing of the Mi MIX 4. However, considering the speculated specifications and features, it may be priced at around Rs. 60,000.
