Xiaomi launches Mi LED Smart TV 4A in India
Xiaomi has launched its Mi LED Smart TV 4A in India in two screen sizes of 43 inch and 32 inch. While the 43-inch model is priced at Rs. 22,999, the 32-inch model will cost buyers Rs. 13,999. The smart TV will be available on e-commerce platform Flipkart and the company's official online store Mi.com every Tuesday and Friday starting March 13. Here's more.
The smart TV will run the PatchWall OS
The smart TV follows the Xiaomi Mi LED Smart TV 4, its predecessor, which launched in India last month. It features an ultra slim-design profile and runs the PatchWall OS, which is based on a forked version of Android. The operating system has a card-style interface and can deliver personalized recommendations based on usage pattern.
The TV features 5,00,000 hours of content across 12 languages
"PatchWall brings together over 15 different content partners, across 12 Indic languages, resulting in the most diverse and rich library of video content ever integrated on a Smart TV in India- over 500,000 hours of content to watch with over 80% free content," Xiaomi said.
Jio users can avail Rs. 2,200 cashback on the TV
The company added, "PatchWall is the first Smart TV OS in the world to intelligently connect to set-top boxes, allowing users to switch to any channel, or specific TV show with just one click." If that wasn't enough, Xiaomi has also partnered with Reliance Jio to offer its users an instant cashback of Rs. 2,200.
The Xiaomi Mi TV 4A features 1 GB RAM, HD display
The Xiaomi Mi TV 4A is powered by a 64-bit Amlogic quad-core processor. It features 1 GB of RAM, with 8 GB of built-in storage in the 43-inch model and 4 GB in the 32-inch model. The smart TV primarily comes with an HD display, three HDMI ports, one ethernet port, Wi-Fi support, one headphone jack, and powerful 20 W dome speakers for an improved audio experience.
