World's first smartphone with 108MP penta-camera goes official
As the world's first 108MP penta camera smartphone, Chinese tech giant Xiaomi has launched the Mi CC9 Pro in its home country. Besides its respectable cameras, the handset also gets a curved AMOLED display, an in-screen fingerprint reader, and a solid 5,260mAh battery. Notably, the company will also launch the global variant of the CC9 Pro as Mi Note 10 tomorrow. Here's our roundup.
First, here's a look at the Mi CC9 Pro
The Mi CC9 Pro sports a familiar waterdrop notched design with curved edges and an ultra-slim bottom bezel. On the rear, it houses a penta-lens rear camera unit along with quad-LED flash. The smartphone sports a 6.47-inch AMOLED display with a full-HD+ (1080x2340 pixels) resolution, HDR10 support, and an under-display fingerprint sensor for secure unlocking.

Mi CC9 Pro sports a penta-lens rear camera setup comprising a mighty 108MP (f/1.69) main sensor, paired with a 20MP ultra-wide-angle sensor, a 12MP portrait lens, an 8MP telephoto lens with 10x hybrid zoom and upto 50x digital zoom, and a 2MP dedicated macro sensor to capture close-up shots. For the selfie lovers, the phone houses a mighty 32MP (f/2.0) front-facing snapper.

The Mi CC9 Pro is powered by a Snapdragon 730G octa-core processor, coupled with upto 8GB RAM and upto 256GB of storage. Under the hood, it runs Android Pie-based MIUI 10 and packs a 5,260mAh battery with 30W fast-charging support. The phone also offers all the latest connectivity options such as dual-SIMs (Nano), dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0, VoLTE, Type-C port, and headphone jack.

As for the pricing, the Mi CC9 Pro starts at CNY 2,799 (approximately Rs. 28,000) for the entry-level 6GB/128GB variant and goes upto CNY 3,499 (approximately Rs. 35,000) for the model with 8GB/256GB configuration.
