Xiaomi Mi 10 can solve Rubik's cube in two seconds
Xiaomi is gearing up to unveil its next flagship devices, the Mi 10 and Mi 10 Pro, in China. The phones are expected to debut with some impeccable capabilities, but as it appears, the tech giant has already started showing them off on the internet. Case in point: A video that shows Mi 10 can solve a Rubik's cube in two seconds. Here's more.
Xiaomi's promotional video showing Mi 10's prowess
Just recently, Lei Jun, the co-founder and CEO of Xiaomi, shared a promotional video for Mi 10 on Weibo. The clip showed a Rubik's cube match, wherein the device went against Du Yusheng, a leading cube solver in China, and defeated him with a significant margin. Yusheng solved the cube in some six seconds, while Mi 10 did it in just two.
Mi 10 worked via robotic arms
As seen in the video, Mi 10 managed to solve the cube by powering the robotic arms holding it. This shows the capabilities, processing speed in particular, of the phone. However, Xiaomi has not shared more details of the experiment, like what app exactly the phone used to solve the cube or what kind of robot was the device paired to.
In another test, Mi 10 beat an i7-powered notebook
Along with this, Xiaomi had also shared a video matching Mi 10 with a notebook powered by Intel's i7 processor. The devices were tasked to calculate the value of Pi to a decimal of 10 million (only last 200 digits visible). They both solved the task, but Xiaomi's unit did it in almost half the time taken by the notebook.
Here are some details about its specifications
According to some leaks, the handset will come with a 6.4-inch full-HD+ OLED display that will support 90Hz refresh rate. It will come with a quad rear camera setup that may include a 108MP primary sensor, a 16MP secondary sensor, a 12MP tertiary sensor, and another 5MP lens. On the front, it will house a 16MP camera. It will be powered by Snapdragon 865 processor.
When Xiaomi Mi 10 will be launched?
Xiaomi Mi 10 and its elder sibling, Mi 10 Pro, will be launched in China through an online-only event on February 13. A global event has also been scheduled for Spain, but there is no word on when the phone will become available in India or how much will it cost in the country. We will have to wait and watch.
