Mi 10 series to be launched globally on March 27
Chinese tech giant Xiaomi is all set to globally launch its flagship Mi 10 series on March 27. The handsets, which went official in China last month, come with 90Hz AMOLED screens, a mighty 108MP quad camera, 5G connectivity, and top-tier internals. Apart from that, these high-end phones come with 30W wireless charging support as well. Here's everything to know.
Mi 10 Pro, Mi 10: At a glance
Both Mi 10 and Mi 10 Pro smartphones come with a similar punch-hole design featuring curved edges. The handsets offer a 6.67-inch AMOLED display with a Full-HD+ (1080x2340 pixels) resolution, 19.5:9 aspect ratio, and 90Hz refresh rate for smooth scrolling and animation. Besides that, both models also house an under-display fingerprint sensor for secure unlocking.
What's the camera like on Mi 10 series?
The quad-camera setup on the Mi 10 Pro comprises a 108MP main sensor, a 20MP ultra-wide-angle camera, a 12MP short telephoto lens, and an 8MP long telephoto lens. The Mi 10 also gets a similar setup but with a 13MP ultra-wide-angle lens and a couple of 2MP lenses for macro photography and depth sensing. Up front, both phones house a 20MP selfie snapper.
Under the hood
Both Mi 10 smartphones pack a Snapdragon 865 chipset that comes with a built-in 5G modem. As for memory options, these phones offer up to 12GB RAM and up to 512GB of storage (256GB internal storage on Mi 10). The Pro model packs a 4,500mAh battery with 50W fast-charging support, while the standard variant packs a bigger 4,780mAh battery but with 30W fast-charging technology.
And, what about pricing?
There is no word on the international pricing of Mi 10 phones as of now. However, in China, the Mi 10 Pro starts at CNY 4,999 (approximately Rs. 50,000), while the standard Mi 10 starts at CNY 3,999 (approximately Rs. 40,000). Meanwhile, according to Gadgets360, the flagship handsets will also hit Indian shelves sometime soon.
