Xiaomi launches Mi 10 Lite, the most affordable 5G phone
As one of the most affordable 5G smartphones, Xiaomi has announced the Mi 10 Lite in Europe at a starting price of EUR 349 (nearly Rs. 29,000). Apart from support for the next-generation mobile network, the phone offers an AMOLED screen, a 48MP quad-camera, liquid-cooling technology, and mid-level internals. However, there is no word on its availability in India as of now.
A look at the Mi 10 Lite
The Mi 10 Lite gets a familiar waterdrop notched design with a prominent bezel at the bottom. On the rear, it houses a quad-camera setup with an LED flash. The handset sports a 6.57-inch AMOLED screen with a Full-HD+ (1080x2340 pixels) resolution and 19.5:9 aspect ratio. Further, it houses an under-display fingerprint sensor and is offered in White, Gray, and Green color options.
What's the camera like on Mi 10 Lite?
The quad rear camera setup on the Mi 10 Lite comprises a 48MP (f/1.8) primary sensor, an 8MP (f/2.2) ultra-wide-angle sensor, a 5MP (f/2.4) macro camera, and another 2MP (f/2.4) depth sensor. Up front, the smartphone houses a 16MP (f/2.5) selfie snapper. Moreover, the main camera supports 4K video recording at 30fps, while the front camera can record Full-HD videos at 30fps.
Under the hood
The Mi 10 Lite is powered by a Snapdragon 765G chipset that comes with a built-in 5G modem. As for memory options, the phone is available with 64GB/128GB of storage. It runs Android 10-based MIUI 11 and packs a 4,160mAh battery with 20W fast-charging support. It gets liquid-cooling technology and all the standard connectivity options like Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, Type-C port, and a headphone jack.
And, what about pricing?
As for the pocket-pinch, the Mi 10 Lite is priced at EUR 349 (approximately Rs. 29,000) for the entry-level 64GB storage model, while the 128GB storage variant costs EUR 399 (approximately Rs. 33,000). The handset will go on sale in European markets starting May. However, as of now, there is no word on its availability in other markets.
