Mi 10 5G spotted on TENAA, design and specifications revealed
Xiaomi is working to introduce a 5G version of the Mi 10 handset soon. In the latest development, the phone has been spotted on TENAA with model number M2102J2SC. As per the images posted on the certification platform, the Mi 10 5G will come with a punch hole design and quad rear cameras. It is also tipped to feature a Snapdragon 870 chipset.
Mi 10 5G: At a glance
The Mi 10 5G will feature a metal-glass body with a punch-hole cut-out, slim bezels, curved edges, and an in-display fingerprint reader. On the rear, it will house a quad camera module. The handset will reportedly bear a 6.67-inch Full-HD+ (1080x2340 pixels) AMOLED screen with a 19.5:9 aspect ratio and a 90Hz refresh rate.
For the shutterbugs and selfie lovers
The Mi 10 5G will sport a quad rear camera arrangement including a 108MP (f/1.69) primary sensor, a 13MP (f/2.4) ultra-wide lens, a 2MP (f/2.4) macro camera, and a 2MP (f/2.4) depth shooter. Up front, it will offer a 20MP (f/2.3) selfie snapper.
Under the hood
The Mi 10 5G will likely draw power from a Snapdragon 870 processor, combined with up to 12GB of RAM and up to 512GB of storage. It will run on Android 11-based MIUI 12.5 and pack a 4,780mAh battery with 30W fast-charging support. In terms of connectivity, the device should offer support for Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.1, GPS, 5G, and a Type-C port.
What about the price?
The pricing and availability details of the Mi 10 5G will be announced at the time of launch, which is expected to happen in the coming weeks. As per a recent tip-off, it will cost CNY 3,500 (roughly Rs 39,600) in China.
