Mercedes-Benz CLA Urban Sport launched for Rs. 35.99 lakh
As the latest addition to its portfolio of cars, Mercedez-Benz has launched the CLA Urban Sport Edition in India. The CLA 200 Urban Sport Edition (Petrol) is priced at Rs. 35.99 lakh, while the CLA 200 d (diesel) variant comes at Rs. 36.99 lakh (ex-showroom prices). This new edition CLA gets a host of updates over the standard CLA Sport model. Here's our roundup.
Mercedes-Benz CLA Urban Sport: At a glance
On the outside, the CLA Urban Sport gets a new Cosmos Black paint job, black finish for the grille, and carbon-style airdam and rear spoiler. Inside the cabin, the car gets a new Thermotronic 2-zone AC with individual controls for temperature, airflow, and air distribution. Further, the car also gets rear center-positioned vents, 'Sport' badged floor mats, and illuminated door sills.
Under the hood
The Mercedes-Benz CLA 200 Urban Sport is powered by a 2.0-liter petrol engine that generates a maximum power of 184bhp and 300Nm of peak torque. The CLA 200 d Urban Sport gets a 2.2-liter diesel motor that produces 136bhp and 300Nm of peak torque. Notably, both the engines come mated to a 7-speed automatic transmission.
