Meizu could launch M16th, M6T, 16X smartphones in India tomorrow
Chinese smartphone maker Meizu is expected to launch three new smartphones in India on December 5. According to reports, the company will launch its flagship Meizu 16th handset along with Meizu 6T and Meizu 16X mid-range devices. Meizu is coming back to India after an 18-month hiatus
Meizu will launch these phones in India after an 18-month long hiatus; the company had last introduced the Meizu M5 back in May 2017. Further, the company will be rebranding two of its smartphones with an 'M' prefix - Meizu M16th and Meizu M6T.
Meizu M16th: At a glance
The Meizu 16th sports a 6-inch full-HD+ (1080x2160 pixels) Super AMOLED panel with 18:9 aspect ratio and in-display fingerprint sensor. It comes with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 processor, paired with Adreno 630 GPU, 6GB/8GB of RAM, and 64GB/128GB internal storage. The phone runs on Android Oreo-based Flyme OS, supports dual-SIMs and packs a 3,010mAh battery with support for fast charging.
Meizu M16th: Camera specifications
In the camera department, the Meizu M16th sports a dual rear-camera setup comprising a 12MP primary sensor and a 20MP secondary sensor. Up front, the phone offers a 20MP (f/2.0) selfie snapper with AI-based face unlock support.
What to expect from the Meizu M6T?
The Meizu M6T is expected to feature a 5.7-inch HD+ (720x1440 pixels) display, a 13MP+2MP dual rear-camera, and an 8MP front camera. It will be powered by an octa-core MediaTek MT6750 chipset, coupled with 4GB RAM and 64GB internal storage. Further, the phone will support dual-SIMs, and is expected to run Android Nougat-based Flyme OS 6.2 and pack a 3,300mAh battery.

The phone comes with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 710 chipset, paired with 6GB RAM and 64GB/128GB of inbuilt storage. It also supports dual-SIMs, runs the same Android Oreo-based Flyme OS and packs a 3,100mAh battery with support for mCharge (fast charging).
