Maruti Suzuki Ciaz facelift to launch in India in mid-August

Days after teasing the car, Maruti Suzuki has confirmed that the 2018 Ciaz facelift will be launched in India by mid-August.
The updated Ciaz will get a host of cosmetic changes both on the outside and inside along with a major under the hood upgrade - a new petrol motor.

As per the official teaser video, the updated Ciaz will get a new grille, headlamp cluster and new LED daytime running lights.
Moreover, the car is expected to get new bumpers, redesigned taillights, and new alloy wheels.
Inside the cabin, the sedan is likely to come with new wood trims along with upgraded SmartPlay infotainment system.

Ciaz facelift will also get Suzuki Connect Telematics system
The Ciaz facelift will come with the newly launched Suzuki Connect Telematics system which has a host of safety, security and user-friendly features such as vehicle tracking, emergency alerts, service reminders, over speeding warnings, trip summary and location sharing, among others.

The Ciaz facelift will debut a new 1.5-litre K-Series petrol engine which will offer 104bhp and 130Nm of peak torque.
The motor will come mated to a 5-speed manual or a 4-speed automatic transmission system.
The car will also be offered with a 1.3-litre DDiS diesel engine that produces 89bhp and 200Nm torque with 5-speed manual transmission system.
