Logitech's new device makes using Adobe Photoshop, Premiere Pro easier
Logitech has introduced its latest innovation, the MX Creative Console. Priced at $199.99 (roughly ₹16,730), this device is specifically designed to enhance user experience with Adobe's Photoshop and Premiere Pro. The console features a keypad similar to Stream Deck and a dialpad with an analog dial, as well as multiple buttons aimed at streamlining creative tasks.
Custom plugins and functionalities
Logitech has developed custom plugins for various Adobe applications including Photoshop, Premiere Pro, Lightroom Classic, After Effects, Audition, and Illustrator. These plugins are integrated into the MX Creative Console to provide users with enhanced control over their creative processes. For instance, in Premiere Pro, users can use the dial to navigate through a timeline while four buttons surrounding the dial offer functions like undo.
Navigation and customization features
The MX Creative Console also includes a roller for easy navigation, allowing users to adjust the zoom level on a Premiere Pro timeline for more precise edits. In Photoshop, users can twist the main dial to alter brush sizes or use the roller to zoom in and out. The console's main keypad functions akin to a Stream Deck, with nine customizable LCD keys that can launch apps or control different features within them.
Logitech's app and connectivity options
All controls on the MX Creative Console can be fully customized via Logitech's app, which includes presets that users can drag and drop onto buttons for each application. The console is available in pale gray and graphite colors, with a three-month Adobe Creative Cloud membership included in the package. The main keypad connects to a PC or Mac via USB-C, while the dialpad connects via Bluetooth or Logitech's Bolt dongle (sold separately).
