The OPPO Find X has a motorized pop-up camera module
After Vivo introduced "Nex", the first phone with a pop-up front-camera, OPPO went a step further and launched "Find X" with a motorized camera-slider with both front and rear-cameras. Making Find X truly bezel-less, OPPO installed sliding-camera module -comprising 25MP front-camera and 20MP+16MP dual rear-cameras- that pops out after launching the front/rear camera. The 6.42-inch Find X also houses Snapdragon-845 SoC processor with 8GB RAM.
Vivo X21 has 'invisible' fingerprint sensor under its display
While Vivo first showcased the in-screen fingerprint sensor technology with its "X20 Plus UD" at CES-2018, Vivo X21 is the first smartphone with an under-display fingerprint scanner to be launched in India. X21 sports a 6.28-inch 19:9 OLED display and is priced at Rs. 35,990. It's powered by Snapdragon-660 processor with 6GB RAM and 128GB storage. It has a 12MP selfie-camera and 12MP+5MP dual rear-camera.
ASUS ROG Phone could be first gaming-smartphone to-be-launched in India
ASUS recently launched the gaming-centric ROG Phone that has many unique features. It is not only the first gaming-smartphone to have a 3D vapor-chamber cooling system but also the first gaming-focused device with an AMOLED display. The 6-inch phone boasts custom Snapdragon-845 SoC processor, 8GB RAM, dual charging-ports, squeezable sides, among other features. ASUS India said the gaming smartphone would be released in India, too.
Huawei launched world's first smartphone with triple rear camera setup
Huawei launched the world's first triple rear camera smartphone - Huawei P20 Pro - in April in India. It has a 24MP camera on the front and a triple camera setup with powerful 40MP+20MP and 8MP sensors on the back. P20 Pro features a 6.1-inch Full-HD FullView display, AI-powered HiSilicon Kirin-970 processor, 6GB RAM, and 128GB storage. The device is priced at Rs. 64,999.
Sirin Finney, the world's first Blockchain smartphone
Swiss start-up, Sirin Labs, unveiled Finney, the world's first smartphone powered by Blockchain technology last month. It is designed to store and use digital currencies like Bitcoin without any transaction fees. The phone with 6-inch display is powered by Snapdragon-845 SoC processor with 6GB RAM, 8MP front and 12MP rear cameras. It would be manufactured by Foxconn's subsidiary, FIH Mobile, and will be shipped around October.
Energizer Power Max P16K Pro with 16,000mAh battery
Battery manufacturing giant Energizer's licensee brand, Avenir Telecom, unveiled the Power Max P16K Pro with a massive 16,000mAh non-removable battery at the MWC earlier this year. Other features and specifications include 5.99-inch Full-HD+ display, octa-core MediaTek Helio P25 processor, 6GB RAM, 128 onboard storage, 16MP+13MP dual rear cameras, and 13MP+5MP front cameras. The company said that the phone would also release in India.
