All you need to know about LG X4
As the latest addition to LG's X series of handsets, the company has announced the launch of its LG X4 smartphone in South Korea at a price of 2,97,000 Korean Won (roughly Rs. 17,800). Similar to the LG X4+ introduced in January earlier this year, LG X4 features a Snapdragon 425, VoLTE and the company's digital payments platform, LG Pay. Here's our roundup.
At a glance
Weighing 164 grams, the LG X4 sports a 5.3-inch HD (720x1280 pixels) IPS display and will be available in Gold and Black color variants. On the rear, we see a single primary camera with LED flash and a finger print sensor with Finger Touch feature that allows users to take a selfie, or screenshot or even authenticate payments using LG pay.

Running on Android Nougat 7.1.2 out-of-the-box, this mid-range smartphone may not impress your with its camera specifications. For the primary camera the phone bears an 8-megapixel rear camera sensor with LED flash while on the front, the LG X4 the sports a 5-megapixel sensor that allows for selfies and video calling.

The phone draws power from a Qualcomm Snapdragon 425 chipset coupled with 2GB LPDDR3 RAM and 16GB of eMMC inbuilt storage which is expandable up to 2TB via microSD card . The phones also features HD DMB support for mobile television viewing along with a 3,000mAh battery and standard connectivity options like Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n, NFC, Bluetooth 4.2, FM Radio, and Micro-USB.

LG Pay is the South Korean company's digital payments platform and has Shinhan Card, Lotte Card, and Hana Card as its current partners within the country. The payments can be authenticated by either using one's fingerprint or password, and users can then use several payment terminals to make payments via LG Pay.
