LG W30, the recently launched pocket-friendly smartphone by LG, is all set to go on sale in India with a new Aurora Green color option. The handset will be available exclusively via Amazon from July 15 at a price of Rs. 9,999. The new model will join the already available Thunder Blue and Platinum Grey variants. Here's more.

Up front, the LG W30 features a waterdrop notched design with noticeable bezels on top and bottom. On the backside, the glossy panel houses a triple camera along with LED flash and a physical fingerprint sensor. Further, the handset gets a 6.26-inch LCD display with HD+ (720 x 1520 pixels) resolution and 19:9 aspect ratio.
What's the camera like on LG W30?
The LG W30 houses triple rear cameras comprising a 13MP main sensor, a 12MP wide-angle sensor, and a 2MP depth sensor for bokeh effect. The main camera offers photography features such as PDAF, HDR, panorama, and is capable of recording 1080p videos at 30fps . Up front, it features a 16MP single selfie snapper.
Under the hood
The LG W30 is powered by a Mediatek Helio P22 octa-core chipset, paired with 3GB RAM, and 32GB of expandable storage. Under the hood, the handset runs on Android Pie OS and is backed by a 4,000mAh battery. Lastly, it offers all standard sensors and connectivity options such as dual-SIMs (nano), Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, micro-USB port, and headphone jack.
Pricing and Availability
The all-new Aurora Green model of the LG W30 costs Rs. 9,999- same as other models. At this price point, it will go up against other mid-range smartphones in the country such as Samsung Galaxy M20, Realme 3 and Redmi 7.
