LG's new phone with dual-screen goes official
As an addition to its portfolio of flagship smartphones, South Korean electronics giant LG has launched the V60 ThinQ. The handset features a distinctive dual-screen design, a 64MP triple rear camera, IP68-rated build quality, 5G connectivity, and top-of-the-line internals. Meanwhile, the pricing and availability details of the flagship phone are yet to be announced. Here are more details.
A look at the LG V60 ThinQ
The LG V60 ThinQ shares its design with its sibling, the G8X ThinQ. The IP68-rated handset features a 6.8-inch full-HD+ OLED screen which can be connected to a secondary display of the same configuration via a Type-C port to offer a 360-degree dual-screen form-factor for multitasking. The secondary screen also has a 2.1-inch front-facing monochromatic display to view notifications, date, and time.

On the imaging front, the LG V60 ThinQ houses a triple-lens rear camera setup comprising a 64MP (f/1.8) primary sensor, coupled with a 13MP (f/1.9) ultra-wide-angle camera, and another 3D ToF sensor. The main camera offers features like HDR, portrait mode, and can record 8K videos. For the selfie lovers, the handset has a 10MP (f/1.9) front-facing snapper.

The LG V60 ThinQ is powered by a Snapdragon 865 octa-core processor that comes with built-in 5G modem. As for memory options, the handset offers 8GB of RAM and 256GB of expandable storage. Under the hood, it packs a solid 5,000mAh battery with Quick Charge 4+ fast-charging technology. Further, the handset also houses stereo speakers for an immersive audio experience.

The LG V60 ThinQ comes with support for latest connectivity options including dual-SIMs (Nano), 5G connectivity, dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.1, NFC, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. Plus, it packs all the standard sensors including an accelerometer, proximity, gyroscope, e-compass, and an in-screen fingerprint sensor.
