LG's V40 ThinQ with five cameras officially launched

Just days after teasing its latest flagship smartphone, LG has officially launched the V40 ThinQ - the successor to V30.
The key highlights of LG V40 ThinQ are its QHD+ display, triple rear-camera setup, dual front-camera setup, flagship Snapdragon 845 processor and top-end internals.
In the US, the phone will be priced at $899.99 (approx. Rs. 66,400).

Up front, the phone sports a notched display with a slim yet prominent bottom bezel while on the back, a glass panel houses the camera and fingerprint sensor.
The LG V40 ThinQ boasts of a Military-grade build (MIL-STD-810 certification) along with IP68 resistance.
Further, it features a 6.4-inch QHD+ (1440x3120 pixels) OLED display with a 19.5:9 aspect ratio and Gorilla Glass 5 protection.

The LG V40 ThinQ features a triple rear-camera setup comprising a 12-MP (f/1.5) main sensor, paired with a 16-MP (f/1.9) ultra-wide angle lens and a 12-MP (f/2.4) telephoto lens.
This setup also supports Dual-PDAF, HDR and an updated AI-powered Cam mode which can recognize up to 19 subjects.
Up front, there's a dual-camera setup with an 8-MP (f/1.9) sensor and a 5-MP (f/2.2) sensor.

The LG V40 ThinQ is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 processor, paired with 6GB RAM and 128GB of inbuilt storage (expandable up to 2TB).
It runs Android Oreo 8.1 and packs a 3,300mAh battery with support for wireless charging and Quick Charge 3.0.
Further, the phone comes with DTS:X 3D Surround Sound, Boombox Speakers and 32-bit Hi-Fi Quad DAC tuned by Meridian.
