Taking on OnePlus 7T, LG launches G8s ThinQ in India

As an addition to its G-series of smartphones, LG has launched the all-new G8s ThinQ in India.
Priced at Rs. 36,990, the flagship handset will be up for grabs starting today via company's retail partner stores.

The LG G8s ThinQ features an iPhone X-like notched design with an ultra slim bezel at the bottom. On the rear, it houses horizontally aligned triple cameras and a physical fingerprint sensor.
The phone sports a 6.21-inch OLED display with full-HD+ (1080x2248 pixels) resolution and Gorilla Glass 5 protection.
Further, it comes with IP68 rating and MIL-STD-810G compliant durability.

The LG G8s ThinQ sports triple rear cameras including a 12MP (f/1.8) primary sensor, 13MP (f/2.4) ultra-wide-angle camera, and 12MP (f/2.6) telephoto lens with 2x optical zoom.
Up front, the dual camera module comprises an 8MP (f/1.9) main sensor, paired with a 3D TOF Z camera which offers features including Face Unlock, Hand ID (scans veins in your hand), and Air Motion (touchless commands).

Under the hood, it runs Android Pie-based LG UX 8 and packs a 3,550mAh battery with Quick Charge 3 (18W) fast-charging support.
Furthermore, the phone offers all standard sensors and latest connectivity options including dual-SIMs (Nano), dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0, Type-C port, and headphone jack.
