Lenovo Z6, featuring triple rear cameras, launched
Expanding its Z series line-up, Lenovo has launched the all-new Z6 smartphone in China. The handset comes with a waterdrop notched display, triple rear cameras, on-screen fingerprint sensor, a 4,000mAh battery, and mid-level internals. Notably, the phone is set to go on sale in China starting July 9. Here is our roundup
Lenovo Z6: At a glance
Up front, the Lenovo Z6 comes with a waterdrop notched design with a noticeable bezel at the bottom while on the rear, it houses vertically stacked triple cameras and LED flash. Further, the handset flaunts a 6.39-inch Super AMOLED display with full-HD+ (1080 x 2340 pixels) resolution, 19.5:9 aspect ratio, and an optical fingerprint sensor.
For the shutterbugs and selfie lovers
On the imaging front, the Lenovo Z6 houses triple rear cameras comprising 24MP (f/1.8) main sensor, an 8MP (f/2.4) telephoto lens, and a 5MP (f/2.2) depth sensor. Up front, the phone sports a 16MP selfie snapper. Moreover, the main camera can shoot 4k videos at 30fps, while the selfie camera supports 1080p video recording at 30fps.
Under the hood
The Lenovo Z6 is powered by a Snapdragon 730 octa-core chipset, paired with upto 8GB RAM and upto 128GB of expandable storage. The smartphone runs on Android Pie-based ZUI 11 and packs a 4,000mAh battery with 15W fast-charging support. Lastly, it gets all the standard sensors and connectivity options such as dual-SIM support, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, USB Type-C port, and headphone jack.
And, what about pricing?
As for the pocket pinch, the Lenovo Z6 starts at CNY 1,899 (around Rs. 19,000) for the base-end 6GB/64GB variant. The mid-end 6GB/128GB model is priced at CNY 2,099 (around Rs. 21,000), and the top-end model with 8GB/128GB configuration is available at CNY 2,499 (around Rs. 25,000). Meanwhile, the handset will be available for purchase in China starting July 9.
