Lenovo Z6 Pro 5G, with 48MP quad rear cameras, launched
Expanding its portfolio of smartphones, Chinese tech giant Lenovo has launched the Z6 Pro 5G in its home country. The new handset, available in solo 8GB/256GB configuration, is also one of the most affordable smartphones that offers 5G support. The key highlights of the phone include its 48MP quad rear cameras, 32MP selfie snapper, and top-of-the-line internals. Here's our roundup.
A look at the smartphone
The Lenovo Z6 Pro 5G offers an edge-to-edge screen with a familiar waterdrop notched design. On the rear, the gradient finished panel houses a quad camera unit along with a dual-LED flash. The smartphone sports a 6.39-inch AMOLED display with a full-HD+ (1080x2340 pixels) resolution and 19.5:9 aspect ratio. It also houses an under-display fingerprint sensor for secure unlocking.

The quad rear camera unit on the Z6 Pro 5G comprises a 48MP (f/1.8) main sensor, 16MP (f/2.2) ultra-wide-angle sensor, 8MP (f/2.4) telephoto lens, and another 2MP (f/1.8) to capture depth details. For the selfie lovers, there is a 32MP (f/2.0) front-facing snapper. Moreover, the main camera supports 4K video recording at 30fps, while the selfie snapper can record 1080p videos at 30fps.

The Z6 Pro 5G is powered by flagship grade Snapdragon 855 chipset, along with an integrated Snapdragon X50 5G modem to enable next-generation connectivity. As for memory options, the handset offers 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. The smartphone is backed by a solid 4,000mAh battery with 18W fast-charging support and 2.0 liquid cooling technology for improved thermal management.
Connectivity options and sensor details
The smartphone offers all latest connectivity options including support for dual-SIMs (5G+4G), dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, Type-C port, and headphone jack. It also packs all standard sensors including an accelerometer, proximity, gyroscope and e-compass. Further, the handset promises support for a maximum download speed of upto 2.02Gbps, which will allow you to download heavy apps and videos within a few seconds.
And, what about pricing and availability?
As for the pricing, the Lenovo Z6 Pro 5G costs CNY 3,299 (approximately Rs. 33,700) in China. Meanwhile, there is no official word on the availability of the handset outside China as of now. At present, the company sells LTE variant of the Z6 Pro in India, which is available at Rs. 33,999.
