Store 1 million photos, 2000 movies in Lenovo's upcoming smartphone
Lenovo's VP Chang Cheng has shared more details about the company's new, upcoming flagship smartphone Z5 on Chinese micro-blogging website Weibo. If that is anything to go by, then the smartphone will feature a massive 4TB of internal storage becoming the first ever to come with this huge a storage capacity. The phone is expected to arrive on June 14.
Never seen before
With this much storage, users will be able to save 2,000 HD movies, 150,000 lossless music files, and 1 million photos in the smartphone. Earlier, Cheng had announced that the phone will sport ultra-thin bezels, a 95% screen-to-body ratio, and no display notch. Till now the Vivo APEX smartphone leads this area with a screen-to-body ratio of 91%.
The phone might have an electric blue body
According to Cheng, Lenovo has patented 18 technologies and will showcase four major technological breakthroughs with the launch of its upcoming flagship smartphone. Latest images shared by him show the phone having an electric blue body. His post also mentioned the phrase "New national flagship declaration", hinting that as of now, the Z5 might make its way only to China.
Where will the front camera go?
If Lenovo is ditching the notch on a bezel-less phone, there will be no space left to accommodate a front camera. Thus, the smartphone might feature a retracting front camera that can be elevated from the top of the phone, just like in the Vivo APEX. This also means that the Z5 will either have a rear-facing fingerprint scanner or an in-display one.
