This premium Lenovo laptop comes with AI-backed features
Lenovo has launched the Yoga S940 in India at a starting price of Rs. 1.25 lakh. The newly launched laptop comes with upto 4K HDR display, all-day battery life, premium specifications including 8th-generation Intel Core i7 processor, upto 16GB of RAM and a couple of handy AI-backed features. At a glance
Both the variants of the Yoga S940 laptop feature a slim look and offer a rectangular conventional display with ultra-slim bezels around the screen. Notably, the entry-level model sports a 14-inch full-HD LED display, while the top-end model also offers the same-sized display but with 4K HDR resolution. Weighing just 1.2kg, both the models are available in Iron Grey color option only.
Here's a look at the AI features
The Lenovo Yoga S940 comes with IR-sensor backed face recognition and an AI-powered eye-tracking Glance software that monitors your eye movements and shifts content on laptop's display to the connected monitor. Interestingly, the laptop also saves your work as soon as you move away from the screen. Furthermore, there is also a BackBlur feature which blurs the background during video chats.
Under the hood
The entry-level Lenovo Yoga S940 is powered by 8th-generation Intel Core i5 chipset, while the top model packs a more powerful 8th-generation Intel Core i7 processor. The base model gets 8GB RAM and 256GB of SSD storage, while the top variant offers 16GB of RAM and 1TB SSD storage. Moreover, to manage the graphical functions, both variants pack Intel HD 620 graphics chipset.
Battery, connectivity, and operating system
Both Lenovo Yoga S940 models pack a 4 Cell Li-Polymer 52Wh battery which is touted to keep the laptop alive for around 15 hours (upto 10 hours on 4K model). These notebooks get all latest connectivity options including dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0, HDMI port, two USB Type-C Thunderbolt 3 ports, and a regular USB Type-C port. Lastly, they run on 64-bit Windows 10 OS.
