Lenovo S5 Pro launched with iPhone X-like notch, Snapdragon 636

Expanding its portfolio of mid-range smartphones, Lenovo has launched its latest S5 Pro in China.
The key highlights of the phone are its iPhone X-like notched display, quad cameras, mid-level Snapdragon 636 processor, and 3,500mAh battery.
In China, the Lenovo S5 Pro comes at a starting price of CNY 1,298 (approx. Rs 13,700) and will go on sale from October 23.

Lenovo S5 Pro: At a glance
Up front, the phone gets an iPhone X-like notched display with a thick bottom bezel. On the back, there's a dual rear-camera setup and a fingerprint sensor.
The Lenovo S5 Pro sports a 6.18-inch full HD+ display with a resolution of 2246×1080 pixels and an 18.7:9 aspect ratio.
Further, the phone comes in three color options- Blue, Black, and Gold.

For the shutterbugs and selfie lovers
On the back, the Lenovo S5 Pro gets a dual camera setup comprising a 20-MP (f/1.8) primary sensor and a 12-MP (f/2.6 aperture) secondary sensor. The rear camera also comes with 2x loss-less optical zoom, AI-powered image enhancing features and LED flash.
Up front, the phone sports a 20-MP + 8-MP dual-camera setup and comes with support for infrared-based Face Unlock and AI portrait.

The Lenovo S5 Pro is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 636 processor, coupled with Adreno 509 GPU, 6GB RAM, and 64GB/128GB internal memory (expandable up to 256GB).
The phone runs Android Oreo 8.1-based ZUI 5.0 and packs a 3,500mAh battery with 18W fast charging.
Connectivity options on S5 Pro include Wi-Fi 802.11a/c, 4G VoLTE, Bluetooth v5.0, GPS/A-GPS, USB Type-C, and 3.5mm audio jack.
