Leaked render confirms Motorola Frontier's massive 194MP camera sensor
Motorola is reportedly working on a new flagship smartphone, called the Frontier. According to a fresh render leaked by tipster Evan Blass, the handset will sport a curved display with a punch-hole cut-out and a rectangular camera bump on the rear packing a massive 194MP main sensor having a size of 1/1.5-inch. It will be powered by a flagship Qualcomm chipset codenamed "SM8475."

Motorola is looking to expand its portfolio of premium smartphones with an aim to take on rivals like Xiaomi, Samsung, OnePlus, and Realme, among others. Also, the company is slated to announce the Edge 30 Pro model globally in the coming weeks. The Frontier model will likely be introduced sometime in the second half of this year.
The handset will feature a 144Hz display
The Motorola Frontier will feature a center-aligned punch-hole cut-out, slim bezels, and an in-display fingerprint scanner for secure biometric authentication. On the rear, it will have a triple camera setup. The handset is said to bear a 6.67-inch Full-HD+ (1080x2400 pixels) curved OLED screen with a 144Hz refresh rate. It is also likely to have IP68-rated water resistance.
A 194MP main camera will be available
The Motorola Frontier will sport a triple rear camera setup, comprising a 194MP main snapper, a 50MP ultra-wide camera, and a 12MP telephoto sensor. At the front, the phone will likely flaunt a 60MP selfie camera.
It may be powered by Snapdragon 8 Gen 1+ chipset
The Motorola Frontier is rumored to be powered by a Qualcomm chipset codenamed "SM8475," which could be the "Plus" version of the existing Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chip. It will boot Android 12 with MyUX skin on top and pack a 4,500mAh battery with 120W wired charging and 50W wireless charging support. For connectivity, the phone should offer support for Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, and 5G.
Motorola Frontier: Pricing and availability
At present, there is no official confirmation from the company regarding the Motorola Frontier. However, based on the top-tier specifications and features, the handset is expected to carry a premium price-tag of around Rs. 75,000.
