Google Assistant has received 4.5 lakh marriage proposals in India
Technology has impressed all and sundry. However, in case of AI-powered smart assistants like Siri, Cortana, Alexa or Google Assistant, users have taken that love for technology to a whole new level. Literally. In a bizarre fact, Google has said that its Assistant has received nearly 4.5 lakh marriage proposals in India since its launch last year. Here are the funny details.
Lakhs have confessed their love to Google Assistant. Have you?
"Google Assistant is available in India in Hindi and English. It has increasingly become popular in India. We have received 4.5 lakh marriage proposals to Google Assistant from India," said Rishi Chandra, Google VP of Product Management and General Manager of Home Products.
Will you marry me?
Ask your smart assistant for her non-existent hand and laugh at the responses. These smart assistants improvise each time you ask them and will whip-up witty and humoros answers. Google Assistant said, "I am already married to my job, which is helping you." Siri replied, "I am not the marrying kind" while Alexa said, "Thank you. But I will wait until Mars is colonized."
Google Assistant can differentiate between voices for personalized experiences
Google's devices can match voices to distinguish between different users and hence provide personalized experiences. About its Home devices, Google says they have been designed with two microphones that use 'neural beam forming' technology to enable accurate voice recognition even from a distance.
