Kult Impulse with Face Unlock, 5.99-inch display launched in India
Making a comeback after three years, Indian smartphone brand Kult has launched Kult Impulse, the company's latest smartphone. It would be available across India starting May 15. Priced at Rs. 8,999, the phone offers a 13MP selfie camera, face unlock technology and 4,000mAh battery. Moreover, the phone also comes bundled with a Reliance Jio cashback offer worth Rs. 2,200. Quad-core processor, 3GB RAM, impressive 4,000mAh battery
The dual-SIM (Micro and Nano) smartphone features a 5.99-inch HD+ (720x1440 pixels) 2.5D Curved display with TruView technology. Powering Kult Impulse is a quad-core MediaTek MTK6739 processor clocked up to 1.5GHz, with ARM Mali-T720 MP1 650MHz GPU, paired with 3GB RAM and 32GB storage (expandable up to 64GB via microSD card). Under the hood, it packs a 4,000mAh battery and runs Android 7.1.1 Nougat.
Kult Impulse comes bundled with a Jio cashback offer
The phone comes with a Reliance Jio cashback offer. Under the offer, Jio users (new and existing) can avail a cashback of Rs. 2,200 in the form of 50 recharge vouchers which can be redeemed against a recharge of Rs. 198 or Rs. 299.

In the camera department, the Kult Impulse features a 13-megapixel rear camera with auto-focus, dual-LED flash, and f/2.0 aperture. On the front, the phone gets a 13-megapixel sensor with LED flash and f/2.0 aperture. The front camera also gets support for facial recognition technology which allows for secure unlocking of the device. Notably, Kult Impulse also comes with a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor.
Kult Impulse: Connectivity options and onboard sensors
In terms of connectivity options, the phone offers 4G VoLTE, Bluetooth 4.2, GPS, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, OTG support, Micro-USB, 3.5mm audio jack, and FM radio. The on-board sensors include an accelerometer, ambient light sensor, gyroscope, and proximity sensor.
