#GamingBytes: Cool things to try in Call of Duty: Mobile
PUBG's first real challenger, Call of Duty: Mobile, is finally available in India. The Activision-developed title promises a lot for the combat-loving gaming community. But, its biggest highlight is a dedicated battle royale mode. On first look, it appears similar to PUBG's battle royale, but there are some pretty tempting things to try out here. Let's take a look.
First of all, you can fly helicopters
Unlocked after reaching Level 7, the battle royale of Call of Duty: Mobile revolves around collecting weapons and battling it out unless you are the last one standing. Now, what makes this mode special is the ability to fly a helicopter, something that's been missing from PUBG. The chopper can be picked up like a car and is pretty easy to control/land as well.
Then, fight zombies and monsters, revive dead teammates
Along with the ability to fly helicopters, Call of Duty: Mobile, which just comes in a single map, also hides zombies and monsters within the game. You may not find them frequently but can run into them, including a weird dragon-like monster, at specific locations. Also, in case your teammate dies, there's also an option to bring them back to life within the game.
Rappel up or down with rope, mark enemies
Call of Duty: Mobile also offers the interesting ability to rappel using a rope. You could find these ropes between the beacon towers to move swiftly in mountainous regions. Also, while moving around, you could even mark an enemy, which would show their last seen position, helping you and your teammates to track and take them out.
Pick the right class to be a ninja or defender
Call of Duty: Mobile battle royale offers as many as six classes to choose from - Clown, Defender, Mechanic, Medic, Ninja, and Scout. Each brings different capabilities. For instance, by being a Ninja, you can use a grappling hook to move swiftly or being a Defender helps you (and your teammates) build a shield to bear enemy gunfire.
Finally, switch between first and third person, use knife
CoD Mobile's battle royale mode also lets you switch between third to first person. And while shooting is easy in both modes, your gun wouldn't get a crosshair in the third person. So, you'd have to switch to aiming sight for taking out distant enemies. Also, when you land, the game will give you a knife by default to survive and pick up weapons.
