Jio to soon rollout Wi-Fi Hotspot feature for JioPhone

JioPhone, the smart feature phone from Reliance Jio is about to get smarter.
According to reports, Reliance Jio is working to rollout a new update to introduce Wi-Fi hotspot feature onto the JioPhone.
However, the feature is currently in testing phase and is expected to be released for all JioPhone users soon - something the company had promised earlier.

How to check for the feature on your JioPhone?
The hotspot feature, currently under testing, will be released in a phased manner.
To find if you have received the feature, open Settings on your phone.
Now go to Networks and Connectivity and then tap on Internet and Sharing option.
If you have received the update, you should see the Wi-Fi Hotspot.
To enable the feature, tap on the option and select On.

You can setup your own password for the hotspot feature
Once you enable Hotspot, you will have the option to rename the network and set a new password for the connection. When the feature is active, you should see a Wi-Fi hotspot icon on the notification area.
