Jio TV launches four new exclusive HD channels: Details here
Expanding its bouquet of services, Jio TV has added four new exclusive HD channels to its video-on-demand and live TV platform. With these latest exclusive channels, Jio TV now offers a total of 16 Jio-branded channels on its app. These channels, available for free, offer content in Hindi, Telugu, and Tamil. All the details about the new Jio HD channels
Jio TV has introduced Jio Bollywood Premium HD, Jio Bollywood Classic HD, Jio Tamil Hits HD, and Jio Telugu Hits HD as the four new channels. As the names suggest, Jio Bollywood will offer the latest Hindi movies in HD quality while Jio Bollywood Classic will stream popular Hindi classics. Likewise, the other two channels will offer content in Telugu and Tamil languages.
Jio TV is available for Jio Prime members only
JioAndroid-tv'> TV is a live TV application from Reliance Jio that is available as a free app for Jio Prime customers. It offers real-time access to 600+ TV channels including the latest exclusive movie channels and other regional channels. Jio TV app, currently available for iOS and Android, comes with features such as seven days 'Catch Up', recording and pause support, among others.
Jio Prime membership costs Rs. 99 per year
To avail the benefits of Jio TV, you must be a Jio Prime member. Currently, this membership costs Rs. 99 per year. With Prime membership, you get complimentary access to a suite of Jio Apps including Jio TV, Jio News, Jio Cinema, and others.
Meanwhile, Jio TV now supports Picture-in-Picture mode also
Recently, Reliance Jio updated the Jio TV Android app to introduce the Picture-in-Picture (PiP) mode. This new feature is available for devices that run on Android Oreo or above. For the uninitiated, the PiP mode is a special multi-window which allows you to watch a video in a small, floating window while browsing other apps like WhatsApp and Chrome.
