iQOO 7 to arrive in India as rebranded Neo5
iQOO will launch the iQOO 7 and 7 Legend smartphones in India on April 26. In the latest development, the Amazon microsite has revealed that the vanilla 7 model will arrive as a rebranded version of the Neo5, which was announced in China last month. It houses a Snapdragon 870 processor and an Intelligent Display Chip. Here's recalling the iQOO Neo5.
The Neo5 boasts of a 120Hz OLED display
The iQOO Neo5, which is already available in China, features a punch-hole cut-out, slim bezels, and an in-display fingerprint sensor. The handset bears a 6.62-inch Full-HD+ (1080x2400 pixels) OLED screen with a 120Hz refresh rate, up to 1,000Hz of 'instant touch sample rate,' and HDR10+ support. It is available in Night Shadow Black, Cloud Shadow Blue, and Pixel Orange colors.
It offers a 48MP main camera
The iQOO Neo5 comes with a triple rear camera setup comprising a 48MP (f/1.8) primary sensor, a 13MP (f/2.2) ultra-wide lens, and a 2MP (f/2.4) depth sensor. For selfies and video calling, it has a 16MP (f/2.0) front-facing snapper.
It is fueled by a Snapdragon 870 processor
The iQOO Neo5 draws power from an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 chipset, paired with up to 12GB of RAM and up to 256GB of storage. It runs on Android 11-based OriginOS for iQOO and packs a 4,400mAh battery with 66W fast-charging support. In terms of connectivity, the device offers support for dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.1, 5G, GPS, NFC, and a Type-C port.
iQOO 7: Pricing and availability
The official pricing and availability details of the iQOO 7 will be announced at the time of the launch. However, for reference, in China, the Neo5 starts at CNY 2,499 (roughly Rs. 28,700) for the 8GB/128GB model.
