iQOO 7's prices leaked; may cost Rs. 35,000 in India
A couple of days prior to its launch on April 26, iQOO 7's pricing details in India have been leaked via Amazon's promotional material. According to the leak, shared by tipster Abhishek Yadav, the handset will be priced at Rs. 34,999. However, the corresponding storage configuration is unclear as of now. To recall, iQOO has already teased the series to cost under Rs. 40,000.
The phone will flaunt a 120Hz AMOLED display
The iQOO 7 in India will arrive as the rebranded Neo5 model. It will feature a punch-hole design, slim bezels, and an in-display fingerprint sensor. The handset will bear a 6.62-inch Full-HD+ (1080x2400 pixels) AMOLED screen with a 120Hz refresh rate, 1,300-nits of peak brightness, HDR10+ support, and 1,000Hz instant touch sampling rate. It will also offer an intelligent display chip.
It will sport a 48MP main camera
The iQOO 7 will house a triple rear camera setup comprising a 48MP (f/1.8) primary sensor, a 13MP (f/2.2) ultra-wide lens, and a 2MP (f/2.4) depth sensor. For selfies and video calling, it will have a 16MP (f/2.0) front-facing snapper.
It will draw power from a Snapdragon 870 processor
The iQOO 7 will be powered by a Snapdragon 870 chipset, paired with up to 12GB of RAM and up to 256GB of storage. Under the hood, it will run on Android 11 and pack a 4,400mAh battery with 66W fast-charging support. For connectivity, the device will offer support for dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.1, GPS, 5G, NFC, and a Type-C port.
iQOO 7: Pricing and availability
In India, the iQOO 7 is expected to be priced at Rs. 34,999. However, the official details will be announced at the launch event, which is scheduled for April 26. The handset will be available for purchase via Amazon.
