What's the story

Vivo's spin-off brand, iQoo, is all set to debut in India with its flagship smartphone, the iQoo 3 5G, on February 25. Now, the Chinese tech giant has shared a teaser video from its social media channels, revealing the design of the handset. Separately, previous teasers have already confirmed that the phone will pack Snapdragon 865 chipset and support 55W fast-charging technology. Here's more.

The handset will get a punch-hole design, touch-sensitive shoulder triggers

As per the teaser, the iQoo 3 5G will sport an all-glass body with a single punch-hole design. On the rear, the rectangular module will accommodate four cameras and an LED flash. The handset is likely to offer a 6.44-inch full-HD+ AMOLED screen with 180Hz touch response rate. Apart from that, it will also house touch-sensitive shoulder triggers, Monster TouchButtons, for enhanced gaming experience.

In the camera department, the iQoo 3 5G will house a quad-lens rear camera setup comprising a 48MP main sensor, paired with an ultra-wide-angle camera, a telephoto lens, and a depth sensor. For selfies, it will reportedly house a 16MP front-facing snapper.

The handset will offer 55W fast-charging support

The iQoo 3 5G will be powered by a 5G-ready Snapdragon 865 octa-core processor, coupled with up to 12GB of RAM and up to 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage. Under the hood, it will pack a 4,400mAh battery with 55W fast-charging support. Moreover, it will get all the latest connectivity options including support for dual-SIMs (Nano), 5G support, Type-C port, and a headphone jack.

The iQoo 3 5G will be launched in India on February 25, and will be exclusively available in the country via Flipkart. As for the pocket-pinch, the handset is likely to be priced around Rs. 40,000.
