iPhone X pre-booking has already started at a few stores
There are still three days left for Apple to start taking pre-orders for its iPhone X. But if any of you Apple fans are in a hurry, you will be glad to know that many stores in India have already started taking pre-orders. What's more, many are assuring delivery on November 3, the same day it officially hits retail stores in over 50 countries!
What's the iPhone X about?
The iPhone X was unveiled on September 12. The stainless steel and glass device comes with an edge-to-edge 5.8-inch OLED display with 2436x1125 pixel resolution. There is no home button. The side button will launch Siri. The Truedepth camera system will work even in the dark. It comes with FaceID, a major leap in technology, which will work on a real-time basis.
How much does it cost in India?
In India, the 64GB variant is priced Rs. 89,000, and the 256GB variant, Rs. 1,02,000. However, you would have to shell an additional Rs. 5,500 on the 29W USB-C charger and Rs. 1,500 on the cable for fast charging- a feature that mostly comes free.
If you're sure you want to shell out the bucks..
Speculation is Apple will release only 2-3mn units in the first phase, so if you really want one, you'll have to act fast. No seller was willing to talk on record, Gadgets Now reported. However, we know most are charging Rs. 5,000 as pre-booking amount. They aren't providing any offers though. If you wait a few more days, you might just get official discounts.
