Over 37 million units reserved during pre-order
The iPhone 16 series was launched in nearly 60 countries on September 20, including major markets like the US, China, Australia, and South Korea. The series includes four models: the iPhone 16, iPhone 16 Plus, iPhone 16 Pro and iPhone 16 Pro Max. Apple reduced pricing for Pro model
Contrary to earlier reports, Apple is experiencing strong demand for its latest smartphones. The base model of the iPhone 16 starts at ₹79,900 while the iPhone 16 Pro series starts at ₹1,19,900. Notably, the iPhone 16 Pro is priced ₹15,000 lower than its predecessor, the iPhone 15 Pro, due to a recent reduction in import duties This pricing strategy has been well-received by customers and contributed to the buzz surrounding the launch.
