Infinix SMART 5 will be available exclusively via Flipkart
Infinix is all set to introduce its SMART 5 model in India on February 11. In the run-up to the launch event, Flipkart has activated a microsite for the smartphone, revealing that it will be available exclusively via the Walmart-owned e-commerce platform. In India, the SMART 5 will arrive as a rebranded version of Hot 10 Play that was announced in Philippines in January.
Infinix SMART 5: At a glance
The Infinix SMART 5 will feature a waterdrop notch display with a slim bottom bezel. On the rear, it will sport a dual camera module and a physical fingerprint scanner. The handset will come with a 6.82-inch HD+ (720x1640 pixels) IPS LCD screen with an aspect ratio of 20.5:9. It will be offered in Aegean Blue, Obsidian Black, Morandi Green and 7-degree Purple colors.
For the shutterbugs and selfie lovers
The Infinix SMART 5 will sport a dual rear camera setup comprising a 13MP (f/1.8) primary lens and a 2MP depth sensor. For selfies and video calling, it will pack an 8MP front-facing camera.
Under the hood
The Infinix SMART 5 will be fueled by an octa-core MediaTek G25 processor, paired with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of expandable storage. Under the hood, it will boot Android 10 (Go Edition) and pack a 6,000mAh battery with 10W fast-charging support. For connectivity, the handset will offer support for Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0, a headphone jack, and a micro-USB port.
Pricing and availability
The Infinix SMART 5 will go official in India on February 11 and will be available exclusively via Flipkart. The official pricing details are yet to be announced but considering the specifications, it should cost around Rs. 6,500.
