Infinix GT 20 Pro launching in India on May 21
Infinix has officially announced the India launch date for its GT 20 Pro gaming smartphone. It will arrive on May 21. The smartphone was initially unveiled last month, and will be launched beside the GT Book and the GT Verse gaming ecosystem. This ecosystem comprises a variety of accessories, comprising the MagCase, Finger Sleeves, cooling fan, RGB mouse, RGB mat, and RGB headphones.
A look at hardware and more
The Infinix GT 20 Pro is fueled by the Dimensity 8200 Ultimate chipset, and features a Pixelworks X5 Turbo dedicated gaming display chip. This makes it the brand's first dual-chip smartphone. It runs on XOS 14 out of the box, and offers either 8GB or 12GB of LPDDR5X RAM, along with a generous storage capacity of 256GB UFS3.1. However, it remains unclear what memory configuration(s) will be available in India at launch.
Display, design, and camera features
The GT 20 Pro boasts a 6.78-inch, 144Hz Full-HD+ LTPS AMOLED display with an integrated fingerprint reader, and a punch-hole for the 32MP selfie camera. The back panel showcases a 'Cyber Mecha Design' with a 'Mecha Loop' LED interface that supports eight color combinations, and four lighting effects. The smartphone also features three rear cameras - a 108MP primary (with OIS), a 2MP macro, and a 2MP depth sensor.
Battery, audio, and color options
The Infinix GT 20 Pro is packed with a robust 5,000mAh battery that supports fast charging at up to 45W. The device also includes NFC and two speakers tuned by JBL, for an enhanced audio experience. It will be offered in three color options - Mecha Orange, Mecha Silver, and Mecha Blue - providing users with a variety of aesthetic choices.
