India-specific OPPO Reno 3 Pro spotted, key specifications revealed
OPPO is all set to launch the Reno 3 Pro in India on March 2. Now, just a few days ahead of its official launch, the handset has been spotted in a retail store with a protective sticker, revealing some of the key specifications. Separately, previous reports have already confirmed that the India-specific Reno 3 Pro would be different from its Chinese counterpart.
The upcoming handset would offer a dual punch-hole design
Unlike the Chinese variant which features a single punch-hole design, the India-specific Reno 3 Pro will come with a pill-shaped display cut-out - similar to POCO X2, Honor V30, and Samsung Galaxy S10+. The handset is likely to offer a 6.5-inch AMOLED screen with a Full-HD+ (1080x2400 pixels) resolution, 20:9 aspect ratio, an under-display fingerprint sensor, and a gradient finish on the back panel.
The phone would offer 44MP dual selfie camera
The India-specific Reno 3 Pro would house a quad-lens rear camera setup comprising a mighty 64MP main camera, paired with a 13MP telephoto lens, an 8MP ultra-wide-angle sensor, and a 2MP depth sensor. For selfies, video calling, and face unlock, the front-facing dual punch-hole module would accommodate a respectable 44MP primary lens and another depth sensor.
Under the hood
In India, the OPPO Reno 3 Pro would arrive as an LTE-only variant. Hence, the handset will reportedly be powered by a MediaTek Helio P95 chipset, unlike the 5G-ready Snapdragon 765G processor that we have seen on the Chinese variant. Apart from that, the premium handset could offer 8GB RAM, 128GB of internal storage, and a solid 4,025mAh battery with 30W fast-charging support.
And, what about pricing and availability?
OPPO will announce the pricing and availability details of the Reno 3 Pro at the launch event itself, which is slated to happen on March 2. However, looking at the specifications, we expect the phone to be priced around Rs. 35,000 in India.
